Bear Springs Blossom Nature Conservation invites you to walk with us on 11 different Nature- Birding trails at our Nature preserve in the Texas Hill Country! Guided tours for individuals or groups throughout the year. Located 35 miles north west of San Antonio, TX, You will experience Nature pure - breath in wilderness, enjoy the greatness of creation! You will get at presentation about the native plants and trees, about the geological history of the Texas Hill Country - Why does the Texas Hill Country exist? How old are our fossils? ![]() Our area was once covered with a warm shallow ocean. Today we find fossils from the Cretaceous period, when billions of sea animals added to more and more lime on the ocean floor, which was later pressed to lime stone. ![]() You will get tips: How can you restore your property How to identify plants and trees How to use solar + wind energy. Walk with us from 30 minutes up to 5 hours, we are here for you 24/7. Some trails are very easy to walk, others require a good condition, 2 are only for experienced hikers. 188 different plant species, 31 different grasses, 48 different birds. 8 pairs of the Golden cheeked Warbler, who is on the endangered species list. GREAT VIEW's over the Hills of the beautiful Texas Hill Country! A great experience - a wonderful vacation good for your body, mind and soul!! |
