Bear Springs Blossom nature conservation is an international worldwide active non profit organization and wants to keep Earth beautiful, dedicated to a worldwide education of the environment - we protect nature, we show wildflowers native to the Texas Hill Country, the common wildflower, wild flower meadows, wild native blossoms, close up wild flowers for better identification, yellow flowers, white flowers, pink mountain laurel flowers, - our main office is in the Texas Hill Country, Pipe Creek, Texas, Bandera County, where erosion control, urban sprawl, overgrazing, unsustainable development, and water scarcity is the main environmental problem when you join our nature conservation group you will protect earth, protect the future of our children and grandchildren, you will show responsibility as a human being, you will get environmental news, you will get an international worldwide nature education, environmental advice, science reports and a nature conservation newsletter

The charitable non profit member organization Bear Springs Blossom Nature Conservation Group provides worldwide nature education to become a Master Conservationist. A Master Conservationist understands what happens, how nature works - he/she takes responsibility, he/she uses his/her brain to solve problems like climate change, air pollution, water contamination, soil erosion, conservation of Nature and gives others the help they need as a volunteer, an example of responsible humans dedicated to worldwide nature education, to responsible usage of natural resources

Nature education is part of an worldwide education program that tries to give humans everywhere on Earth the understanding what happens on our Earth, how nature works, how we can solve environmental problems like global climate change, worldwide air pollution, ocean pollution, water contamination soil erosion. A good Nature education helps you to understand nature and to live in harmony with nature

when you start to think, half of the work is done - Have the courage to use your brain. Immanuel Kant said: Enlightenment is man's release from his self-incurred tutelage, with Sapere Aude being charged to those who would follow this program of individual liberty and knowledge.
The Age of Enlightenment is also known as the Age of Reason. When you look at the American Declaration of Independence, the United States Bill of Rights and the French Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen,
you will see the ideas and hopes of this new / old philosophy of Enlightenment. A Master Conservationist understands, he she uses his her brain to solve problems like world climate change, worldwide air pollution, water contamination soil erosion, he knows that an international education is the only way to keep Earth beautiful

keep Bandera beautiful is a slogan we use to protect nature in Bandera county texas, Cowboy capital of the world - the beautiful tx hill country attracts more and more home buyers, more houses, more water wells and roads have endangered the balance of this fragile lime stone habitat in Central Texas, close to San Antonio, TX

The international charitable non profit member organization Bear Springs Blossom Nature Conservation and its Nature Preserve is located in Pipe Creek, Bandera County in the Texas Hill Country. See photos, have outdoor fun, and get information how to recognize native plants and wildflowers, native trees as Spanish oaks, Escarpment cherry, lacey oak, texas persimmons, madrones, mountain laurel and many different native grasses, as little bluestem, bushy bluestem, indian grass, lindheimers muhly and learn how to use mulch and erosion control to get a beautiful landscape where flora and fauna will flourish

Nature Center of the international charitable non profit member organization Bear Springs Blossom Nature Conservation at its Nature Preserve is located in Pipe Creek, Bandera County in the Texas Hill Country. See a presentation, see fossils, active erosion control, lear how to recognize native plants and wildflowers, native trees as Spanish oaks, Escarpment cherry, lacey oak, texas persimmons, madrones, mountain laurel and many different native grasses, as little bluestem, bushy bluestem, indian grass, lindheimers muhly and learn how to use mulch and erosion control to get a beautiful landscape where flora and fauna will flourish

Mission of non profit organization Bear Springs Blossom Nature Conservation, located in Bandera County in the Texas hill Country. Why do we fight for Earth protection, why do we take action for water conservation, why is our mission to get a beautiful landscape where flora and fauna can flourish

the newsletter of bear springs blossom nature conservation provides bi monthly information on nature conservation issues, tips and advice, the latest news and the invitation to our member meetings is produced with articles from our members and news we get from many universities all over the world - send out by mail or electronically to save trees, printed and produced in our main office in the Texas Hill Country

Madrones or Madronas are rare trees in the Texas Hill Country, many of them seen at our nature preserve in Pipe Creek, Bandera County. Some call it Indians leg, others the peeling tree because the Madrone cannot grow bigger without growing a new bark every year. Our nature preserve has over 300 madrones showing how nature conservation works and how important it is to live in harmony with nature to prevent global warming and climate change

Junipers or juniper ashei or juniper virginiana are trees or shrubs found in many countries on Earth. It prefers growing on limestone, caliche and its wood and leaves have a ph below 6 - Our Texas nature preserve has thousands of junipers. Why do we need junipers, why does the Texas Hill Country and Pipe Creek, Bandera County, have so many of them. Junipers are native plants and can get very old. On our Nature Preserve we have juniperus ashei older than 200 years. We hand clear and mulch the overgrowth, but protect the mature junipers, because many birds, native animals and plants need the Texas Cedar, not a cedar at all... to live in harmony with nature, to prevent erosion and to help new native plants to grow is very important for humans

The Golden cheeked Warbler is an endangered bird breeding only in the Texas Hill Country - no other place on earth. It needs mature junipers and leaf trees - our nature preserve in Pipe Creek, Bandera County, provides habitat for 6 pairs of the Golden cheeked Warbler who peels little stripes from the bark of the mature juniper to built its nest, and removes insects from oak and cherry trees, showing how important nature conservation is and how important it is to live in harmony with nature to protect endangered species, to protect flora and fauna

we provide guided tours in the southern Texas Hill County, Pipe Creek, Bandera County, through our 124 acre Bear Springs blossom nature preserve with a lot of outdoor fun in the Texas Hills. In Pipe Creek, Bandera County you can walk or hike with us on 11 different nature trails and 2 birding trails, see endangered species, the endangered bird Golden Cheeked Warbler, and you can hike on our 4 hiking trails in the TX hills, or have an easy stroll on our nature trails on guided tours or you grab your binoculars, get knowledge about native plants and watch our native birds or the endangered golden cheeked warbler on our birding trails

nature conservation is the only way to give our children and grandchildren a safe future, with enough breathable air, enough healthy drinking water, with a good climate, without violent weather, storms and floods. Nature conservation is not very costly but very efficient if all of us would do just a little bit to reduce air and water pollution, to reduce co2 levels, to lower the impact of global warming and climate change - work with us conserve nature

International Water conservation is the only way to give our children and grandchildren a safe future, with enough drinking water, with a good climate, without food shortages, higher food prices. Water conservation is not very costly but very efficient if all of us would do just a little bit to reduce water waste and water pollution - take action today and reduce your water consumption - conserve water

how to save gasoline, how to lower your gas bills, how green driving helps you and Nature on Earth, more money in your pocket and reduced air pollution and water contamination, it lowers our need for foreign oil

endangered species are found everywhere on earth, in our oceans, in the rainforests, in all continents, the next generation of humans is on the endangered species list, wildlife on land Earth and in the water, native plants, trees, birds - with our enormous use of fossil fuels and waste of energy with endanger earth - the only home we have to live on

how much does an acre of forest cost - can you tell me the real value of land - its resources, its effect on air and water pollution, on climate change and global warming?

Bear Springs Blossom takes action on global dimming. Global dimming reduces the heating up of planet earth, but it is caused by the same factors that cause global warming and climate change: burning fossil fuels. Air pollution with visual particles is reducing the greenhouse effect, because the sun cannot shine through all the smog. But all these pollutants and aerosols are causing human illnesses as asthma, heart disease, respiratory sickness, cancer, Parkinson, Alzheimer globally. We have to take global action to come to solutions

co2 levels were never higher - co2 is a greenhouse gas - an aerosol that works as an insulator in Earth's atmosphere trapping heat causing warmer oceans, warmer temperature, more hurricanes, violent weather - we have to fight pollution with nature conservation, we have to protect lake water rivers and oceans

Global statistics, Earth statistic, World statistic, world clock, about Climate change, food supply, drinking water, air pollution, illnesses, CO2 in tons

Climate change is endangering our life, endangers our food supply, our drinking water, the air we breath, the way we travel, the way we develop, the way we live and really endangers the future of our children and grandchildren

global warming and climate change are caused by burning fossil fuels - it took millions of years to produce fossil fuels, but humans decided to burn them in a few centuries, global warming is caused by air pollutionand water contamination, global warming is the reason for violent weather with hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, human sickness, cancer, illnesses as asthma, heart disease, respiratory sickness, cancer, Parkinson, alzheimer

fight pollution with nature conservation, water river ocean protection, reduce air pollution with efficient home appliances, less energy waste, less water waste, reduce pollution with recycling and reduce the use of fossil fuels with green driving, reduce electricity produce by burning coal with better home insulation, procuce less pollution with renewable energy also called clean energy, part of which is solar energy, wave energy, wind energy

water Quiz tests your knowledge about water, how much it weighs, how many gallons are in the oceans, how much is in the human body, why drinking water gets scarce
Knowledge Quiz is a test of your common knowledge about all nature related questions, from green transportation, to better insulation, to energy efficient light bulbs, how green education works - we offer nature education
Bird Quiz shows you pictures photos from birds when you click on the answer button the name of the bird will show up, it helps you to identify birds, recognize wildlife when you see in you backyard or your walks in a nature conservation park
why and how to recycle, why recycling is important and why we all should recycle to safe money now and in the long run, from paper to card board, recycling glass to plastic, recycling of electronics to cars, everything can be reused or recycled

recycling saves resources, saves you money, prevents air and water pollution, protect natural resources and gives the next generation a chance to have some resources left - recycled products can be bought in many varieties from paper to lawn chairs, siding, most of our steel is part recycled, most of our aluminum cans are from recycled cans

Sustainability is the capacity of maintaining a certain process or state. It is now most frequently used in connection with biological and human systems. In an ecological context, sustainability can be defined as the ability of an ecosystem to maintain ecological processes, functions, biodiversity and productivity into the future. Sustainability can be applied to almost every facet of life on Earth, the different levels of biological organization, wetlands, prairies and forests and is expressed in human organization concepts, eco-villages, eco-municipalities, sustainable cities, and human activities and disciplines, sustainable agriculture, sustainable architecture and renewable energy.

Video clips on nature conservation, on solar water heating, how to use native plants, how to make mulch and the best ways to use mulching

why should we use renewable energy, how does Solar energy work, solar energy, wind energy, photovoltaic uses for your home, solar power and sun powered generators produce clean energy without changing our climate, without producing air pollution and water contamination, clean renewable energy free provided by our sun, the center of our solar system

how does Solar energy work, solar energy, wind energy, photovoltaic uses for your home, solar power and sun powered generators produce clean energy without changing our climate, without producing air pollution and water contamination, clean energy free provided by our sun, the center of our solar system

how does Solar energy work, solar engery, solar hot water panel or solar hot water collector uses for your home, solar power and heats up your water heater and provides you with clean energy for your shower, your washing machine, your kitchen without changing our climate or producing global warming

how does Solar energy work, solar engery, photovoltaic or photo voltaic electric panels uses the sun to produce electricity for your home, solar power and sun powered generators produce clean energy without changing our climate

how to use wind power, a residential windmill or wind turbine wind energy is part of the renewable energy program, we show and explain how wind energy works why many people can use it and lower their monthly electricity bill

we protect rainforests because earth and humans need rain forests for medicine and for oxygen and for stabilizing our climate, trees help us to reduce climate change and global warming

we work hard to protect our oceans, marine mammals and fish, protect whales as the killer whale or orca, the humpback whales, the fin whales or finback whale, porpoises as the harbor porpoise and dolphins as the striped dolphin, or the bottle nose dolphin and all the other cetaceans which include baleen whales and toothed whales, from overfishing. We fight Water pollution in our seas, because oceans stabilize our climate. Whales are big mammals and balance the life in our oceans who help us to reduce climate change and global warming

knowledge about mosquitoes is very helpful in understanding how a mosquito bites and why, how malaria is spread and what we can do to prevent this desease - how we can balance nature again to prevent illnesses and protect humas - better information leads to better behavior, can lead to stabilizing our world climate, and help us to reduce climate change and violent weather on earth

Art inspires our minds, art can help us to understand our environmental problems, art shows us the beauty of nature, art can help to understand nature conservation and how important it is to live in harmony with nature. See international and local artists, photographers and painters with aquarell and oil paintings, with photo art and collages

Photos of San Antonio, Texas, south of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, the River walk, botanical garden, missions

Overgrazing destroys our land, endangers the future of our children, reduces drinking water supply, multiplies water contamination, causes erosion and destroys the native plants that feed our wildlife, causing floods, higher greenhouse gases, with violent weather and stormy hurricans

A wildflower also wild flower is a flower that grows wild, meaning it was not intentionally seeded or planted. Wildflower meadows are mostly men made, but in same places Nature provided us with this treat.
The term "wildflower" is found in many languages, for example Germany has the word "Wildblumen". Wildflower are neither a hybrid nor a selected cultivar - it appears in the wild as a native plant.
Scientists do not like the term wildflower and generally try to be more specific - the latin names for our wildflowers are used all over Earth and make it much easier to talk about the same plant species.

Art inspires our minds, art can help us to understand our environmental problems, art shows us the beauty of nature, art can help to understand nature conservation and how important it is to live in harmony with nature

nature conservation is the only way to give our children and grandchildren a safe future, with enough breathable air, enough healthy drinking water, with a good climate, without violent weather, storms and floods. Nature conservation is not very costly but very efficient if all of us would do just a little bit to reduce air and water pollution, to reduce co2 levels, to lower the impact of global warming and climate change

Overgrazing destroys our land, endangers the future of our children, reduces drinking water supply, multiplies water contamination, causes erosion and destroys the native plants that feed our wildlife

Madrones or Madronas are rare trees in the Texas Hill Country. Some call it Indians leg, others the peeling tree because the Madrone cannot grow bigger without growing a new bark every year. Our nature preserve has over 300 madrones showing how nature conservation works and how important it is to live in harmony with nature to prevent global warming and climate change

The Golden cheeked Warbler is an endangered bird breeding only in the Texas Hill Country - no other place on earth. It needs mature junipers - our nature preserve provides habitat for 6 pairs of the Golden cheeked Warbler who peels little stripes from the bark of the mature juniper to built its nest, showing how important nature conservation is and how important it is to live in harmony with nature to protect endangered species

Junipers or juniper ashei or juniper virginiana are trees or shrubs found in many countries on Earth. It prefers growing on limestone, caliche and its wood and leaves have a ph below 6 - Our nature preserve has thousands of junipers. Why do we need junipers, why does the Texas Hill Country and Pipe Creek, Bandera County, have so many of them. Junipers are native plants and are very old. On our Nature Preserve we have juniperus ashei older than 200 years. We mulch the overgrowth, but protect the mature junipers, because many birds, native animals and plants need the Texas Cedar, not a cedar at all... to live in harmony with nature, to prevent erosion and to help new native plants to grow is very important for humans
