We can all take many different steps to mitigate damaging effects: We can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by increasing the: 1) use of energy efficient technologies 2) renewable energy resources, like wind and solar power. 3) use a fuel efficient car 3a) maintain your engine with synthetic oil + 3b) air filter change for better mileage 4) fight erosion with mulch 5) recycle to reduce air pollution 6) recycle to reduce water contamination 7) recycle to extend natural resources 8) recycle to lower the amount in landfills 9) insulate your home better 10) use energy efficient light bulbs Actions You Can Do to make a difference:  Many members of Bear Springs Blossom Nature Conservation have Solar panels on their roofs The US and China are the largest contributors to Climate change on Earth. The US average annual emissions are 19.6 tons per person, nearly five times the Earth average of 3.9 tons per person. But it is possible to reduce the amount of CO2 that we generate! Possible, without changing our life totally - Many members have cut their CO2 emissions by ~20,000 pounds (10 tons) and have saved a lot of money with these easy actions: They started with Conservation At Home They choose clean energy They have saved up to 8,000 lbs of CO2 per Year All members of our 'public benefit' non profit organization Recycle Recycling saves a lot of energy needed to make new products as glass, aluminum, plastic, cardboard and newspapers. Many member have put better insulation in their homes, reducing electricity bills having more comfort. Save ...
