BSB research clearly shows:
Air pollutants are linked to extreme rainstorms + hurricanes
These weather events are getting substantially worse.
The NEW Normal?
Water polluted with mercury
Land + soil polluted = food poisoning with mercury
Mercury is causing brain damage!
Mercury kills people! Mercury makes you sick!
Mercury poisoning is connected to Alzheimer and Parkinson + ADD Attention Deficit Disorder in children.
Air pollution always contains mercury
Main reason: Coal-fired power-plants!|
Huge amounts of mercury are blown out by coal fired power plants and cement plants!
Filters could prevent mercury pollution!
Help us to fight this terrible pollution poisoning!
In addition to mercury coal fired power plants also emit radiation!
Get nuclear + radiation facts
Mauna Loa Observatory, Hawaii
Atmospheric CO2 measured in parts per million (ppm)
Never before in human history, Earth had CO2 levels that high
BSB science education gives answers!
Climate facts: In the last 12 years we hit 11 weather records!!
We faced the warmest months since US-weather records were written down!
RECORD: The highest level since humans occupied Earth!
Can you see a trend??
Texas is always good for a record!|
The Electric Reliability Council of Texas, set many many new records in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 for peak demand!
Attached to these RECORDS are multiple air pollution records!
Hurricanes + storms
with tons of rain + floods in one place
droughts + fires, famine in other places!
Food prices climbing
Drinking water gets expensive!
High energy demand caused by violent weather,
Electricity producing power plants need
huge amounts of water for cooling.
High air pollution produced by power plants ..
Not all people can see a trend - do YOU?
Do we really want to face that?|
Do we really want our children to suffer?
Humans need to live a sustainable life style to survive!
Very strong storm with wind speeds up to 160 miles per hour, causing a lot of damage. Wildfires because of severe drought conditions, other areas still have flood problems.
RECORD high for food price index! Every month it breaks the record, never before food prices were that high.
One phrase will be heard very often in the next years:
People protesting because they are hungry
Violent weather caused by too much methane and CO2 already has destroyed huge parts of the harvest. Rice, corn, wheat prices are soaring - will be too high for many to afford ... how many will face starvation?
Pollution on our Earth affects several essential aspects:|
Air + water + food + all living beings and pollution affects Earth's climate!
Oil in the Gulf of Mexico
In May 2010 the biggest environmental disaster in US-history happened in the Gulf of Mexico. Coast lines of Texas Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida were contaminated by oil!
Imaging the damage done to thousands of birds, millions of marine wildlife, plants and of course humans!!! The air pollution through evaporating oil is very harmful to humans.
Pollutants are emitted in completely different ways, all pollutants harm living
Air pollution is mainly emitted though the exhaust of motor vehicles, the combustion of fossil fuels, the burning of coal and oil.
Most of the pollution from coal burning on Earth, comes from the production of electricity.
Water pollution is the result of industrial waste, environmental accidents and
greed for profit without responsibility.|
All societies know that pollution is harmful and a serious problem for Earth but many people are self centered, not caring for others!
Everybody can contribute to prevention. Many small steps can make a big difference!
Pollution solutions include: People everywhere on Earth should obey environmental laws, laws that protect their families, their neighbors, their friends. Government involvement is key to regulating toxins, building waste systems and protecting air and waters. Responsible behavior of the individual can make all the changes needed.

Air pollution - Air quality
Pollution hurts every living being on Earth! Humans are the biggest producers of pollution!|
1) Pollution will shorten our life
2) Pollution is causing many illnesses
3) Pollution can lead to extinction of many..
In cities are 3 main sources of pollutants:|
1) Transportation mainly automobiles, trucks, buses
2) Burning in stationary sources, including residential, commercial, and industrial heating and cooling
3) Coal-burning power plants and trash incinerators. In some states even trash-barrel-burning is lawful ..
Science data show that low-temperature-burning is damaging to human and animal health!
Motor vehicles produce high levels of carbon monoxides (CO) and a major source of hydrocarbons (HC) and nitrogen oxides (NOx).
Burning in stationary sources is the dominant source of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and dioxins - 1 millionth of an ounce will kill a human!
Power plants emit about 90% of the sulfur dioxide and 57% of the nitrogen oxides in the US.
Chlorofluorocarbons CFCs, also known as Freons, are greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming.
Photochemical air pollution is commonly referred to as "smog".
Smog is causing Asthma, lung cancer, heart disease and harms the grow-up process of children.
We can all do a lot individually to help reduce pollution and conserve our
resources, but its important to get businesses large and small on board as well. Whether you work for a large, national corporation like
Santander Consumer USA or a small family-owned grocery store, here are some things a
business can do to reduce pollution.|
1) Put a bottle/can recycling bin in the break room
2) Install air dryers instead of paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms
3) Install low-flush toilets in the bathrooms
4) Adopt a highway
5) Recycle waste paper
6) Install a bike rack at the entrance and encourage employees to car pool

Land Pollution is the degradation of earth's land surfaces. Human activities
are the main factor and their misuse of land resources. Haphazard disposal of
urban and industrial wastes, exploitation of minerals, and improper use of soil
by inadequate agricultural practices are a few factors. Urbanization and industrialization are major causes of land pollution. There are different ways we can handle our wastes, there are different ways to develop sub divisions, there are better ways to harvest minerals - we just have to think about our impact - if you need help - send us an email.|
If you like Butterflies, don't use pesticides = pesticides kill them.|
The Industrial Revolution set a series of events into motion which destroyed natural habitats and polluted the environment, causing diseases in both humans, animals and plants.
The use of pesticides to kill pests and all other insects lead to the endangerment of all life on Earth.
Always think, before you use chemicals. When a pesticide can kill a bug, it can
kill you too - most of the time, it is only a question of the amount you are using.|
Scientists have proved, that even small amount of chemicals will harm humans, often not immediately, but in coming years. All pesticides are dangerous to human beings and cause additionally soil contamination and water contamination. Pesticides are the chemical used for spaying to the crop. It kills the insects near by the crop which affects the crop. Farmers all over Earth have the highest cancer rate. A very big drawback of the pesticide is that after a certain period of time the fertility of land goes away and often bugs get resistant.
Chemical pollutionHerbicides are used to kill weeds. Herbicides derived from trinitrophenol (2:4 D and 2:4:5 T) have the impurity dioxin, which is very toxic and causes fatality even in low concentrations. A millionth of a gram can kill many humans. It also causes spontaneous abortions, hemorrhaging and cancer. Agent Orange (50% 2:4:5 T) was used as a defoliant in Vietnam. Eleven million gallons were used and children born since then to American soldiers who served in this conflict, have shown increased physical and mental disabilities.
It affects the head of the sperm and the chromosomes inside it. When you compare the DNA of a plant with the DNA of a human, you will immediately see, why Herbicides kill humans so easily.

Work with us to keep Earth beautiful!|
Better in-depth knowledge helps us preserve and not destroy Earth - as we know it ..
A good environmental education helps us to understand and to deal with coming changes and challenges.
Marine pollution is mostly land based. The pollution often comes from agricultural runoff and wind blown debris.|
Many potentially toxic chemicals adhere to tiny particles which are then taken up by plankton and benthos animals, most of which are either deposit or filter feeders. In this way, the toxins are concentrated upward within ocean food chains. Many particles combine chemically in a manner highly depletive of oxygen, causing estuaries to become anoxic.
When pesticides are incorporated into the marine ecosystem, they quickly become absorbed into marine food webs. Once in the food webs, these pesticides can cause mutations, as well as diseases, which are harmful to humans as well as the entire food web.
Toxic metals are also introduced into marine food webs. These causes a change to tissue matter, biochemistry, behavior, reproduction, and suppress growth in marine life. Often animal feeds are produced from sea life - so marine toxins are transferred to land animals, and appear later in meat and dairy products - then eaten by humans.

Light pollutionon Earth causes many problems for many animals and for humans.
The energy used comes mainly from burning fossil fuels, which leads to air pollution.
More energy consumption produces more air pollution, more water pollution!
Light pollution reduces Earth's natural resources!
This is the BSB wind turbine|
Renewable energy is one way to produce less air pollution and less water contamination!
Think about and see how wonderful our Earth was created...
