Wind Power Wind turbinesHarvesting renewable energy from the wind
Wind turbines produce clean energy - energy from the wind without
You can produce your own electricity!
This wind turbine is working for 15 years at
BSB Nature Preserve in the Texas Hill Country.
We bought the Whisper H80 in a box and installed it.
With wind speeds of 22 miles an hour:
our wind turbine produces 1000 Watt/h.
Wind turbines or windmills are rotating devices.|
They converts kinetic energy from the wind into mechanical energy.
Humans use wind turbines for centuriesIn the past windmills were used to pump up water or to grind corn or wheat.
Nowadays wind turbines have only 2 or 3 blades to spin faster
so they can convert wind energy to electricity.
Many names are used:
Wind power unit
Wind energy converter
Aero-generatorEnergy produced by the wind is clean - no pollution is released into Earth's atmosphere!
Wind doesn't blow all the time
Wind turbines make noise.
We use, we show, we explain wind energy!
We built a Texas-stile Windmill in 2001
IT'S WORKING GREAT and lowers our electricity bill very much!
DO THE SAME:
Create clean energy with your residential wind turbine
or with a windmill that produces air pressure
or a wind generator that gives you free electricity.
Make a difference in Climate Change!
We will explain how it works and how YOU can do it!
Wind - a constant resource that is self-renewing and clean.

Windmills have been used around the world for centuries. Modern windmills are very high-tech.
Windmills are often grouped together on large areas of land or ocean called wind farms. Modern wind turbines can be as big as an airliner.
But our small residential wind turbine Whisper H80 also produces 1000 watts at 22 miles wind.

The Environmental Benefits include minimal pollutants such as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and lead in comparison to those produced in the creation of energy through fossil fuels.
Importing less fossil fuels is also good for our economy, because billions of dollars are sent to foreign countries.
Renewable energy resources are developed at home. Furthering their development will keep billions of dollars here, creating more jobs for local workers.
Our Children's Future depends on the technological advancements of these energy sources. Two things we know for certain are that oil won't last forever, but the sun will send solar energy for the next few million years.
National Security is strengthened as dependency for foreign oil is decreased. By moving toward renewable energies, we naturally shift toward freedom from unstable ground.
Patient Earth needs our help!
Our sun produces more energy than we can ever use
Our Sun - in Latin Sol - is a yellow dwarf - and the center of our Solar System.
The Earth and all other planets, asteroids, meteoroids, comets, and dust orbit the Sun.
Our sun brings in 98.6% of the Solar System's mass.
Our Sun is ~149,600,000 kilometers, or 92,960,000 miles away from Earth.
Our sun light needs for this distance 8.3 minutes.
Our Sun provides almost all life on Earth via photosynthesis, and drives the Earth's climate, wind and weather.
